Yes, drinks, snacks and packaged products can all be logged by photo, text or barcode. For canned or bottled drinks a barcode scan gives the most reliable numbers, and everything you log counts toward your daily calories and macros.
ACR20 uses OpenAI models to analyse meals and transcribe voice notes. Your photos and text are sent securely to the AI through ACR20's own servers, and the AI keys are never exposed in the app.
The AI returns the food name, calories, macros, a confidence level and a short tip.
The calorie estimate is a well-informed approximation, usually close for common foods and standard portions, but not exact to the gram. Accuracy improves when the photo is clear and you answer the quick follow-up questions about portion size.
For exact values on packaged items, use the barcode scanner.
Yes, you correct a meal by replying in the chat, for example "it was a large portion" or "add a glass of milk", and the AI updates the entry. You edit meals conversationally rather than typing numbers into a form.
You can also delete a meal from your diary.
Each analysis comes with a confidence level of high, medium or low, so you know how sure the AI is. When the numbers from the photo do not add up cleanly, ACR20 lowers the confidence and may ask you a clarifying question.
A low confidence is a cue to add a detail or a second photo.
If the photo is not food, ACR20 tells you and does not save a meal. You can also use the chat to ask nutrition questions or get advice without logging anything, and those consultation and coaching chats do not create diary entries.
ACR20 calculates your daily calorie goal from your sex, age, height, weight, activity level and goal during onboarding. It estimates the energy your body burns and then adds or subtracts calories depending on whether you want to lose, maintain or gain.
Your goal never drops below a safe floor of 1200 calories per day.
ACR20 uses the Mifflin-St Jeor equation to estimate your basal metabolic rate, then multiplies it by an activity factor (1.2 low, 1.375 moderate, 1.55 high, 1.725 very high). For your goal it applies a fixed daily change: −500 calories to lose faster, −250 to lose slowly, 0 to maintain and +300 to gain.
The result is rounded to the nearest 10 calories.
Protein is set at 2 grams per kilogram of body weight, fat at 25% of your calories, and carbohydrates fill the rest. This keeps protein high enough to protect muscle while you change weight.

Yes, you can update your goal, target weight and target date any time from your profile, and ACR20 recalculates your calories and macros. Every change is kept in your history so you and the AI can see how your plan evolved.

Yes, you can set a target weight and a target date, and ACR20 tells you whether that pace is realistic. The target date is a guide only: it never secretly changes your calories or macros.
If the date is too soon, the app suggests a realistic date you can apply with one tap.
ACR20 treats about 1% of your body weight per week as a safe maximum for losing fat, and a slower pace for gaining muscle. If your target date requires going faster than that, it is flagged as aggressive or impossible.

You log your weight in your profile, and ACR20 keeps the full history. The Evolution view charts your weight against your calories so you can see the relationship over time, with a target-weight line on the chart.

The diary shows every meal you logged for the day, with its calories and macros, plus how much of your daily goal you have used and what is left. You can view the breakdown for the whole day or meal by meal.
Each entry can be expanded to edit, favourite, delete or view its photos.
The Evolution view charts your nutrition over 7 or 30 days, including calories, protein, carbs, fat, a 7-day moving average and your goal line. It also shows your average intake, best and worst days, and a calorie breakdown donut.
It is how you see trends instead of single days.
A day counts as on target when your calories land between 80% and 110% of your goal, and adherence is the percentage of such days. A calendar heatmap shows your on-target days at a glance, rewarding consistency rather than perfection.
Your streak counts the consecutive days you stayed on target, up to your last logged day. A day you have not logged yet does not break the streak, so it is a gentle nudge to keep going.
Yes, you can share a summary of your progress as an image from the Evolution view, handy for sending to a friend or coach. Your raw data stays private unless you choose to share it.
ACR20's community lets you connect with friends using an @username and a public profile at acr20.com/@username. You can follow each other, and mutual follows become friends.
It is optional and designed to keep you accountable, not to be a public feed.
Yes, your account is private by default, and other people only see what you allow. You control, field by field, whether your weight, goal and meals are visible, and private accounts must approve followers before anyone sees their content.
Your meal photos are always stored privately.
Your public profile shows your name, @username, bio and photo so a shared link leads somewhere real. Sensitive details like your weight, goal and meals only appear if your privacy settings allow it.
If you would rather not appear at all, leave your @username blank.
You add friends by sharing your profile link or @username, or via WhatsApp and your phone's share sheet. On a private account, the other person sends a request that you approve, and buttons always state the action so you never unfollow someone by accident.
ACR20 offers three subscriptions: €2.99 per week, €9.99 per month, or €69 per year, which is the best value. Prices are shown in euros or US dollars and you pick the plan that suits you.

Yes, you can analyse your first meal without even creating an account, and up to 3 meals in total for free after signing up. After that, a subscription unlocks unlimited meal logging.
The free meals act as your trial, so there is no separate payment trial.
A subscription unlocks unlimited meal analysis by photo, text, voice and barcode, plus the full diary, Evolution charts and community features. All plans include the same features; only the billing period and price differ, and the yearly plan is the cheapest per month.
You can cancel any time from your profile, which opens the secure Stripe customer portal to manage or cancel your plan. Your access continues until the end of the period you already paid for, and you can also switch plans from the same portal.
Refunds are handled case by case, so contact support and we will help. Because the free meals let you test the app before paying, there is no automatic trial period on the paid plans, and cancelling stops future charges immediately.
You can pay in euros (EUR) or US dollars (USD). ACR20 defaults to euros in Spanish and US dollars elsewhere, and you can switch the currency manually. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
When you reach the free limit of 3 meals, ACR20 shows the subscription options before you can log more. Everything you already logged stays in your diary, and subscribing unlocks unlimited logging straight away.
You can sign in with Google, Apple, or a one-time code sent to your email, with no passwords to remember. If you started without an account, signing in keeps all the meals you already logged.

Yes, you can delete your account yourself from Profile → Settings → Delete account, and all your data (profile, meals, photos, weight history and friends) is permanently removed. You can also request deletion by emailing support if you prefer.
You can request a copy of your data by contacting support. In-app export is not available yet, but your meal history and goal changes are all stored, so a full export is possible on request.
Your data is stored securely on ACR20's backend, and your meal photos live in a private storage area only you can access. Photos are sent to the AI only to analyse the meal, and other users see only what your privacy settings allow.
ACR20 works on any modern phone, tablet or computer through the web browser, and it can be installed as an app (PWA). It is designed mobile-first, so it feels like a native app on your phone.
Native apps for iOS and Android are ready but not yet published in the App Store and Google Play. In the meantime you can install ACR20 from your browser as an app, and it behaves the same as the store version.
ACR20 is available in English, Spanish, French, German and Italian. The AI also replies in your chosen language when it analyses meals, and the URL reflects the language you pick.
Open ACR20 in your phone's browser and choose "Add to Home Screen" to install it as an app. It then opens full-screen with its own icon, just like a downloaded app, and no app store account is needed.
